House Rules

Studio policies.

The plain English version of how the studio runs: cancellations, phones, guests, and everything in between. No legalese.

Reservations & cancellations

  • Every class is reserved in advance through the site. A reservation holds your spot; walk-ins are subject to availability and not guaranteed.

  • Cancellation windows: Committed, Complete and Black Cat members may cancel up to 12 hours before class. Everyone else (Core, Charged, class packs, drop-ins) cancels at least 24 hours before.

  • Late cancels and no-shows: unlimited and class-allocation members are charged a $22 fee. Class pack holders and drop-in purchasers forfeit the reserved session instead, with no fee on top.

  • Grace pass: Committed, Complete and Black Cat members get one automatic grace pass per calendar month that waives their first late-cancel or no-show fee. It applies by itself, no phone call needed, and resets on the 1st.

  • Booking windows: unlimited tiers book 30 days out, everyone else 14 days, Recovery Suite drop-ins 72 hours.

  • Waitlists: joining one never auto-charges you. When a spot opens you get a text and 30 minutes to claim it; unclaimed offers simply pass to the next person, no penalty.

Parking

  • There is a lot directly behind the building, and a second lot just behind that one. Start with those.

  • The neighborhood around us has plenty of street parking, some free and some paid. Read the posted signs where you park.

  • Do not park in spots labeled for other businesses.

Arrival

  • Arrive at least 15 minutes before class for check-in, warm-up, and setup. Doubly so for your first visit.

  • If class has already started, you can be admitted only during a transition between rounds, never mid-round, at the coach’s discretion.

Phones

  • No phones during class. Silenced and put away before it begins.

  • Three reasons: focus, safety, and respect for the people sweating next to you. The hour moves fast, and a phone in hand is missed cues and sloppy form.

  • Before class and during designated breaks is fine. Filming or photographing other members without their explicit consent is never fine.

Hygiene

  • Sanitizer and towels are provided. Wipe down what you used after class.

  • Clean athletic shoes on the floor at all times, no bare feet during class, and go easy on fragrance in a room this intense.

  • Feeling sick? Stay home. We reserve the right to send anyone showing symptoms home.

Personal belongings

  • Store valuables securely. Society 3 is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged belongings, and items left on the studio floor during class are at your own risk.

Guest passes

  • Committed, Complete and Black Cat members get three guest passes per calendar month.

  • TriMethod classes only, first-time visitors only, and every guest signs the liability waiver before class.

  • Guests count toward the 24-person cap, passes reset on the 1st and do not roll over, and the hosting member is responsible for their guest.

Cameras

  • Security cameras run in training and common areas for safety and incident documentation only. Never in restrooms, never recording audio, and never used for marketing or social media.

  • Footage is kept briefly, stored locally with restricted access, and shared only as the law requires.

Minors

  • Participants must be 16 or older. Under 18, a parent or legal guardian signs all agreement documents before participation.

Health & safety

  • Tell your coach about injuries, limitations, or health conditions before each class begins. Coaches offer modifications, not medical advice.

  • Dizzy, nauseous, or in pain mid-class? Stop immediately and flag your coach.

  • A first aid kit and an AED are on the premises.

This page is the readable summary. The Studio Policies document you agree to at checkout is the binding version, and where they differ, it wins. Questions about any of it: call or text (818) 936-6229 or email meow@society3studios.com.
