Your First Class at Society 3
Nervous?
Good.
It means you are about to do something.
One hour, coached start to finish, with 23 people who all had a first class once too. Below: the room you will walk into, and straight answers to everything you are wondering, including the question you were not going to ask out loud.
Book your class
Pick any TriMethod class on the schedule. Booking takes about a minute, and your spot and machine are held for you.

Two minutes on your phone, once, before you arrive. It turns walking in on day one into a thirty second hello instead of paperwork.

Meet your coach, get set on your machine, ask anything. Then the clock starts and the hour takes care of itself.
Walk in already
knowing the floor.
This is the coaches' own map of the floor. 24 spots, three zones, three groups of eight. Your group moves through all three every round, and the lights over each zone really are these colors.

Cardio · 5 min per round
You pick your machine when you arrive: bike, elliptical, treadmill, or stair climber. It is yours for the whole class, and it only ever goes your pace.
The neon over each zone is not decoration. The room runs custom lighting that shifts between rounds to guide you to your next station, so you always know where to go without being told.
A Bose Professional system, tuned for a coached class: loud enough to carry you through a push, clear enough that you never miss a cue.
Every machine on the floor is brand new and top of the line, from the treadmills to the dumbbells.
Towels and sanitizer are provided, and a two in one water station and drinking fountain keeps your bottle full.
Asked and answered.
What do I wear?
Anything you can actually move in. Leggings or shorts, a tee or tank, and training shoes you can both run and lift in. The room warms up fast once class starts, so think light layers over heavy ones. No dress code, no judgment.
How early should I get there?
Ten minutes. For your very first class, make it fifteen: enough time for your coach to meet you, walk you through the room, and get you set up on your cardio machine without anyone rushing. The front desk will know you are coming.
Am I fit enough for this?
Yes. Every level trains in the same room, and that is by design. Your cardio machine runs at your pace, every strength movement has a version for where you are today, and coaches scale the work to you, whether it is your first class or your five hundredth. Capped at 24 people, so your coach can actually see you.
What if I can't finish?
Then you rest, and nobody blinks. There is no penalty lap and no spotlight. Take water, step off the pace, and your coach will hand you a modification, not a lecture. Better yet: if something is already on your mind, an old injury, a long time away, anything you think might hold you back, say it to your coach before class starts. That is not a confession. It is how they know to keep an extra eye on you. Finishing your first class is not the assignment. Starting it is.
Where do I park?
Two lots: one directly behind the building, and a second one just behind that. The neighborhood also has plenty of street parking, some free and some paid, so read the posted signs. One rule: skip any spot labeled for another business. The full parking map is on the Studio Policies page.
Real talk: the sweat situation.
You will sweat. That is sort of the point, and the studio is built for it: a two in one water station and drinking fountain for your bottle, complimentary spray deodorant and dry shampoo in the bathrooms, and hair ties and thin headbands on hand if you forgot yours. Pack a change of shirt if you are headed somewhere after. Nobody in that room is judging you, they are all too busy dealing with their own situation.
Wondering how the hour itself is built? The full three zone breakdown lives on How Classes Work.

Parking: two lots behind the building, plus street parking all around. See the parking map.

The hard part
is booking it.
Everything after that is coached. Pick a time that fits and we will handle the rest.
